SUBMISSION RULES Arrow right by Drawn-MarioArrow right by Drawn-MarioArrow right by Drawn-MarioArrow right by Drawn-Mario

In order to maintain a certain quality and theme of group:

:bulletred: Must be submitted to the CORRECT FOLDER (Due to that lets-Pastel accepts just 2 submissions a week you otherwise maybe have to wait a few days till you can submit again). Not sure?:Have a look in the folder for examples&description

:bulletred: just media of dry pastel, pastel pencils, oil pastel, charcoal & chalk - LITTLE use of pencils or ink FOR DETAILS is allowed, but pastel must absolutely predominate. Please no mixed media with watercolour, acrylic, oil, much colored pencil ect...group theme would become too blurred.

:bulletred: Media must be written in the description of your work
(just "pencil" doesn't tell media...so please mention which one)

:bulletred: limited to 2 submission a week

:bulletred: Should be cropped properly (nothing to see but the drawing: no other background than the paper, no things on it) and well photographed or scanned (not too dark or light, not too small or blurry)

:bulletred: no WIPs or unfinished work

:bulletred: no lined or squared paper

:bulletred: no porn (nudes allowed)

:bulletred: no manga, pokemon, ponies, or any other known cartoon or animation film character...sorry

 It's not meant in a rude way if your work was declined without explanation. But a LOT OF people don't care about submission rules or submitting to the correct folder...so it's a very big & unnecessary effort for every admin to clean up after all this submissions. Please just have a look for the reason. A question anyway? : Send a note for help :aww:

I have a question for all you pastel users! As a total pastel newbie, I want to try them and start using them, but I don't know what brands are good. Right now for Graphite I use Derwent. If anyone has any general advice I'd love to hear it. Thank you! :) (Smile)
